Isaac Sachs is a photographer and engineer from Oakland, California, living in Portland, Oregon. As an engineer, he's worked on hybrid cars, mining trucks, and smartphone software. As a photographer, his work examines the many ways in which humans interact with and shape their environment, particularly through technology. Isaac has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. His work has been in group shows at Blue Sky Gallery and Newspace Center for Photography in Portland, and Lightbox Photographic Gallery in Astoria, and has been featured in online and print publications.
