Description

Join us for a fun two-day workshop where you will learn the basics of jewelry making! You’ll have the opportunity to create your own textured sheet metals using photo etching and hammering techniques. By the end of the workshop, you will take home beautiful pieces, including a pendant, a bangle bracelet, earrings, and a ring. No experience necessary; beginners are welcome!

About the Instructor

Junko Iijima is an inspiring educator and artist from North Portland.

Originally from Japan, she came to the U.S as a high school exchange student and later earned an MFA in Metalsmithing from the University of Oregon. Junko has taught art courses at various colleges and universities. Currently, she empowers both youth and adults through metalsmithing classes at the Multnomah Art Center and Clackamas Community College
