Pamela Hadley is a time-based light artist living in Portland, OR. Interested in how embodied viewing changes the scale of time and place, Hadley creates highly immersive environments by engineering dark spaces and using projected minimalist animations in response to specific objects and/or places. Believing that phenomenological experience can be an agent of social change, Hadley seeks to make these experiences freely accessible to anyone. Hadley holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL, and a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Washington, DC and has exhibited around the US and internationally. Hadley is a member of Carnation Contemporary, WAVE Contemporary, and Borderline Salon, all in Portland, OR.
