Katie McClintock
Art Invitational Coordinator
Katie McClintock joins the Sitka team as the Art Invitational Coordinator after being a volunteer on the Art Invitational Install Team since 2011.
She hopes to be an asset by combining her passion for art and her planning and logistical skills, to create a successful Art Invitational every year.
Katie has a BA in Art History from Colorado College and worked at the Colorado History Museum as the Assistant Curator of Photography before moving to Oregon in 1989. After receiving a Masters of Liberal Studies from Reed College, she contracted with Clackamas County to inventory their historic buildings. Katie founded a visual merchandising company in 2007, which facilitated the install of sales meetings and retailer events for Nike and Columbia.
In her personal time, Katie enjoys exploring the great outdoors – biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing. She loves to travel and seek out cultural experiences, art, architecture, food, and physical beauty. She also enjoys taking art classes and experimenting with different mediums.
