Katie Miller was born and raised in the wilderness of Northeastern Minnesota, but is now deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest.

Miller received a BFA from the University of Washington and an MFA from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Her work has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, artist run spaces, and public places. Miller’s interdisciplinary practice is situated at the intersection of art, architecture, and science, and embodies research, observation, and experimentation to create artworks and installations that invite viewers to deepen their relationship to the places they inhabit.
