Join us for a fun three-day workshop where you’ll learn how to transform your beach finds and precious discoveries into beautiful jewelry pieces like rings, pendants, brooches, earrings, and bracelets using bezel and tab settings. You’ll also have the chance to explore basic metalsmithing skills and cold-forging wire techniques. No experience necessary – just come with a smile!

About the Instructor

Junko Iijima has been teaching metalsmithing and design in colleges and art centers in the US since 1995.

Junko Iijima has been teaching metalsmithing and design in colleges and art centers in the US since 1995. Her teaching at Clacakcams Community College and her artwork have been featured on OPB’s Art Beat. Junko focuses on students’ success in creating their work. In her work, she focuses on the intertwining cultures of the Japanese where she is from, and the United States where she lives.
