Description

Learn to create realistic mosaics of your favorite garden plants using stained glass with basic cutting techniques and tools. Learn and sketch basic flower and leaf structures from live samples, then translate those forms into typical mosaic shapes while exploring how light and shadow make the plants come to life. Includes all materials and use of tools in the workshop, to create a small indoor wall-art mosaic. Finish your piece in class, or at home if you have tools. Some experience with mosaic or stained glass is helpful but not required.
