Description

This generative workshop will guide you through writing fiction with a deep sense of place and setting. We’ll read short published works with characters intrinsically connected to and created by their environments and take that craft to our own novels and short stories. We’ll reignite our own work with creative prompts and entryways into a deeper sense of the intertwining of ecology and human relationships in fiction. Bring in-progress stories, novels, or start something new in response to the Sitka Center’s campus and it’s deeply place based programming.
