Ali has joined the Sitka team for the 2026 summer season as the Campus and Workshop Host. She is excited to provide a meaningful service to her community, just as her late grandmother Lee did.
Ali is inspired by Lee Burrows, the founding director of the Yuba-Sutter Arts Council, later renamed The Lee Burrows Center For The Arts. Ali has a profound respect, understanding and appreciation for art, culture, creativity and a deep desire to support it.
Ali has nine years of experience in providing an array of public services in various communities with her most recent being caregiving. Outside of work, she enjoys music, hiking, botany, photography, reading, and writing.
