Ash Stone

  • Interdisciplinary 2026

Ash Stone (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and educator based in Portland, Oregon.

Her work, driven by play and humor, serves as a reclamation of agency, a healing ritual, and a study of domestic dysfunction. As a mixed-race, queer person native to Texas, Ash’s practice is informed by her inherited family photo archive, rural Texas/Tejano culture, and thinkers within intersectional feminism
and psychology. In 2026, Stone was included in Oregon Contemporary Artists’ Biennial: The Price of The Ticket, and had their first solo exhibition, Say Cheese, at The Old Church in SW Portland.
