Stephanie Adams-Santos

Stephanie Adams-Santos is a Guatemalan-American interdisciplinary artist, writer, and<br>occasional screenwriter whose work explores ancestry, memory, ritual, and spiritual ecologies rooted in diasporic and animist traditions.
They are the author of Dream of Xibalba,
winner of the Orison Poetry Prize and finalist for the Oregon Book Award. Their screenwriting
credits include several seasons of Two Sentence Horror Stories (CW/Netflix), short films
La Gloria and Anino, and the Latinx horror fiction podcast Nocturno for iHeartRadio, hosted by Danny Trejo. They have received fellowships from Vermont Studio Center, The Gotham, Sundance, Film Independent, and Ojalá/Universal. Stephanie teaches in the PNCA/Willamette University low-residency creative writing program and is the creator of the forthcoming tarot project Ojo De La Selva: Arcana Azul.
