Maria Elting
Program Manager
Maria Elting has worked in public programming, arts administration and medicinal and ornamental agriculture throughout Hawai'i and the West Coast.
Her interest in site-reactive work, place-based experiences and intersectional/interdisciplinary/interactive approaches inform her management of the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology’s residency, workshop and fellowship programs. She grew up on the island of O’ahu and has a certificate in Community Herbalism and a BA in Art History from Hawai’i Pacific University.
