Plan Your Visit
The Sitka Workshop Season runs from June to September each year. The 2026 workshop calendar will be published online in mid-December. Members-First Enrollment will be February 19, 2026. Open Enrollment will be March 5, 2026.

Guidelines for Visiting the Sitka Center during Workshop Season
- Accommodations: We are not able to accommodate workshop participants overnight on Sitka’s campus. A variety of accommodations can be found in nearby Neskowin, Lincoln City and Pacific City.
- Lunch and refreshments: Please bring your own lunch. Microwaves and refrigerators are available. Coffee and tea are complimentary. Light snacks and canned beverages are available for purchase.
- Parking: Park only in Sitka Center-designated areas.
- No onsite camping, including sleeping vehicles, is permitted.
- Vehicle restrictions: Campers, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles are not permitted at Sitka or in the surrounding neighborhood. Please contact the office for exact specifications.
- Smoking Policy: The Sitka Center is a smoke-free and e-cigarette-free environment.
- Health and safety: Sitka’s health and safety policies, including COVID precautions, may change according to current guidelines.
- Animals: Leave pets at home. Pets are not allowed anywhere on campus, including outdoor spaces, studios, residences, offices or in parked cars in our parking lot. Sitka complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and welcomes service animals that are trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities. Please note that emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA.
- Accessibility: If stairs are a concern, we can provide assistance and an alternative drop-off point. Please contact the office in advance to arrange.
- Office hours: For further assistance or questions regarding our upcoming 2026 season, call during our winter office hours, 10am-4pm, M-Th. For weekend help during workshop season, a staff person will be available on site to assist you.
- Materials: Plan to bring all materials listed under “Participant Provides” in the description of your workshop. All other materials will be provided either by your instructor or Sitka. If you need clarity on any items, please contact the office.
Cancellations
If a workshop is cancelled by Sitka, you will be notified at least 14 days prior to the start date and you will receive a full refund. If you need to cancel your workshop participation, please email info@sitkacenter.org or call 541-994-5485
- Cancelling 21+ days prior to your workshop = 100% refund less a $35 administrative fee
- Cancelling 14-20 days prior to workshop = 50% refund
- Cancelling fewer than 14 days prior to workshop = 0% refund
