Gaby Tirta is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Portland, Oregon,<br>working across batik, natural dye, and textile to explore themes of identity, memory, place, and material lineage.

Her practice navigates the textures of diaspora, family, and the spaces between cultures, often bringing social practice and community design into her process. She studied batik and natural dye techniques at Threads of Life in Ubud, Bali, and both her community-based projects and studio work have been and continue to be supported and commissioned by the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
