Jenna Bonistalli

Jenna Bonistalli creates works with dimensional materials – paper, clay, thread, light and sound.
Her work explores ecological time, attention and phenomena. She designs installations and environments using light and projection. She earned a BA from New York University’s Gallatin School, an MSEd from Bank Street College of Education and an MFA in sculpture at the University of Iowa, with a focus in hand papermaking at the UI Center for the Book. She has studied at Penland School of Crafts and the Oxbow School and been an artist-in-residence at Iowa Lakeside Lab and the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. Jenna currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA and is a Lecturer in Studio Arts at Loyola Marymount University.
