Jory Mickelson

They are the author of Picturing (End of the Line Press, 2025), AllThis Divide (Spuyten Duyvil Publishing, 2024), and Wilderness//Kingdom (Floating Bridge Press, 2019) which won a 2020 High Plains Book Award. Their work has appeared in Poetry Northwest, Harvard Divinity Bulletin, Mid-American Review, The Rumpus and other journals in the US, Canada, and the UK. They are the recipient of an Academy of American Poets Prize and have received fellowships from Dear Butte, The Desert Rat Writers Residency, the Lambda Literary Foundation and The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation of New Mexico. They were also a 2022 Jack Straw Writer in the Jack Straw Cultural Center’s Writers Program.
