Samina Sirajuddowla
- Curators, Educators and Community Organizers 2026
Samina Sirajuddowla is an artist and educator working between New York and Köln.
Her practice explores life’s cyclical relationship between the human condition and the natural world, with a focus on ecology, gender, mortality, and preservation. Through drawing, painting, video, printmaking, and ceramics, she engages archival materials, ancient mythologies, and decolonial epistemologies to center the body and intuition as generative sites of embodied knowledge and memory. Using her genealogy as a point of departure, her work explores liminal spaces where past and future converge, body and soul intersect, and the living encounter relics of the dead.
