Support the Art Invitational by Volunteering

The Sitka Art Invitational needs over 100 volunteers to help make this event a huge success!

Volunteer Sign-Up:

Choose a time from the available slots below and sign up to volunteer. Volunteering with a friend can be fun so feel free to share this opportunity and sign up together.

 To sign-up, send an email to: saivolunteer@sitkacenter.org with your desired date, time slot and position. Please include a second and third choice in case your first choice is not available. Also, please respond as soon as possible. We will fill the jobs on a first come, first serve basis and some positions fill up quickly.

Special Art Tour/Volunteer Training with Grace Kook-Anderson: If you sign up to volunteer, you are also invited to join us at Oregon Contemporary for an Art Tour/VolunteerTraining on Thursday, October 13, 1:00pm – 2:30pm (attendance is optional). Grace Kook-Anderson, Curator of Northwest Art at the Portland Art Museum, will provide an overview of the themes she recognizes this year and discuss some of the artistic processes and art pieces throughout the show. This is a wonderful opportunity to be the first to see the show and learn more about the artwork. If you can attend the training, please send us an email saying “yes, I want to attend the Art Tour/Volunteer Training on Thursday” to: saivolunteer@sitkacenter.org
