Description

Traditionally a medium that calls to mind soft, fluid edges and subtle variation, in this workshop participants will explore how to create striking definition and contrast with the use of line work as a finishing touch for watercolor pieces. We will begin with creating loosely painted watercolor paintings, both still life created in the studio and plein air nestled in Sitka’s landscapes, then learn to apply line work with pens and/or watercolor pencils that will help impact distinctive touches to the paintings.
