Description
This two-day workshop will start with abstract and expressionistic play with watercolor. We will practice loosening up. Building from expression and looseness, we will tap into our intuition to find images, brush strokes, and words that resonate with our artwork and let us dive deeper into our own creative practice. We will work from our unconscious mark-making to find meaning and move into making figurative work. This class is intended for both the creative who doesn’t consider themselves an artist but likes to craft or draw, and the experienced artist looking to deepen their practice.
