Description
Waves are an archetype in mosaic, representing everything from geographic location to the collective sum contained in the ocean’s enormity. In a wave, there is rhythm and repetition; piecing together a wave mosaic is a meditation of completion. In this workshop, you will learn how to choose and cut colorful stained glass and lay it out in a design that demonstrates the flow, beauty, and interconnectedness of the seas. The mosaic process is the curious method of figuring out how and why the pieces fit together, and the ocean is a wonderful subject to consider.
