Description
Our fast-paced world often leaves us feeling isolated and distressed. This two-day workshop offers the chance to try a variety of ways to reconnect with the rest of nature at a leisurely pace. We’ll start out by learning about the mental and physical health benefits of being outdoors, and share ways in which we connect with nature as well as what keeps us from making time for it in our lives. We’ll then explore a wide variety of activities to help find a deeper relationship with nature, like nature journaling, nature identification, mindful walking, the joys of a nice nature nap, and much more. Along the way we’ll discuss what we’re experiencing, and adapt our adventures as needed. No pressure or prerequisites, just bring your curiosity about how slow nature can benefit you!
