Workshop Overview
In this one-day immersive workshop participants will learn how to identify and collect ideal plants for pressing with some light foraging around the Sitka campus. Back in the studio, each participant will receive their own handmade, reusable flower press to be filled with plants as instructor Bri Rossi of Little Leaf Inks guides the group with tips and tricks for achieving beautiful, preserved plants that can later be used as gifts or mementos. Participants will also have time to craft a composition using pressed plants from the instructor’s personal collection of flora and fauna.
