Explore the vibrant world of watercolor through an engaging workshop that introduces the captivating batik technique. Unleash your creativity as you blend melted wax and watercolors on Unryu rice paper, unlocking a stunning, textured effect. To begin the workshop participants will collaborate on a small project, following a step-by-step process. Once that is finished, participants will embark on crafting their own distinctive artworks, guided by the instructor. Personalized attention will be given to each participant as they refine their compositions and color values based on their chosen photo references, ensuring a solid foundation before the brush touches the canvas. It's a delightful journey to diversify your watercolor practice and create truly unique pieces of art.
