In honor of the Sitka Center's 50th anniversary, artists Frank and Ian Boyden were scheduled to have an exhibition opening June 12 in the Chessman Gallery at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Due to COVID-19 they will present an online exhibition of works.

Margot Voorhies Thompson interviews Frank, Jane and Ian Boyden and reveals their hidden lives as crows, jays and ravens through many reflections and stories. Ian's artist book, Bird Spirits, which includes drypoints by Frank and music by William Bolcom, is featured in a video in which Jane plays the piano pieces. Another video features Ian feeding his likeness created with bird seed to Steller's jays.

Margot and the Boydens invite you to their corvid extravaganza. They wish they could see you in person.

The online exhibition will be available on Ian Boyden's Website June 12th.
